About the Owner:
Austin Meek founded NAVGUNNER LLC with a simple goal: to build critical-to-function components with uncompromising precision and integrity. As a licensed 07/02 manufacturer specializing in parts for transferable NFA items, our work is grounded in technical expertise, accountability, and a deep respect for the craftsmanship this industry demands.
Before entering manufacturing, Austin served five years aboard a U.S. guided-missile destroyer as a Gunner’s Mate First Class (Surface Warfare Specialist). Those years shaped his commitment to reliability, discipline, and attention to detail—qualities that carry directly into the shop today.
With the support of the G.I. Bill, Austin earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University, which gave him the foundation to turn his passion project into a professional operation. What began as a labor of love has grown into a thriving brick-and-mortar machine shop serving a wide range of industries while staying true to its roots in the NFA community.
